We have the tools to help us be reading teachers but how do we create passionate reading environments? This keynote focuses on all the extra things we can implement in our classrooms as we help students become invested and excited about our reading communities. Whether we start small with choice and voice in the classroom, to exploring our own reading identities and how they influence our teaching, passion is easy to re-ignite in reading as long as you have the ideas and trust in yourself to try them. Attendees will leave with a plethora of ne strategies, and tips and tricks to infuse more passion into their literacy classroom.
